10/21/2024 - Week 66 - E.T. (but not like the movie)
Welp, all good things come to an end, I guess.
Last night Elder Subero and I spent the night at the other Elder's house and we sent Elder Subero off to Cincinnati to help keep that area open (an Elder had to go home for medical stuff) at 6 am this morning with the APs.
This week was pretty good, we found out that we'd be getting an ET (Emergency Transfer) on Friday so we spent the following days saying goodbye to the members (I'm still staying in the same area, I'm just moving into a trio with the other Elders, which meant I had to pack up and move apartments for the 3 time IN THIS AREA)
What happened during the other days:
- we had a wonderful meal with some members in the ward with some incredibly racist comments... about their own race.
- We taught our friend Rodbim and he's still a STUD and he found a solid job for the Winter and he won't have to work weekends (honestly the biggest miracle of the week)
- We attended a baptism in Cincinnati for their Spanish group and I got to say hi to some of my member friends in my Greenie area!
- we had exchanges with the Cincinnati elders and we taught a Part Member Family we've been trying to start teaching for a while
- I channeled my inner hustler and bought a 24 pack of Mt Dew Baja Blast cans at Jungle Jim's for 2 $ (I can't resist a fantastic deal)
Honestly, that's all I got for this week!
