3/25/2024 - Week 36 - Hola a todos!
Welp. This has been a fairly interesting week.
For most of the week I haven't been feeling too great, but I still was on that grindset, getting the work of the Lord DONE.
We ran into a recent convert in our ward and one of the families in the ward at Taco Bell and they graciously paid for our meal and we talked for a while! It was amazing!
Most of our week was trying to contact in public and at people's doors with very little success. It was very cold and windy most of the week
Really the only cool thing that happened this week was that we were able to help a younger family in the ward move (like a few streets over) and it was super fun and I'm glad we had the opportunity to serve and help them out!
We also had 2 friends come to church this week which is amazing!
Our Elders Quorum lesson was on Heroes and both Kobe Bryant and Hakeem Olajuwon came up in the discussion. Kinda funny
We also had a fantastic Devotional from Sister Bradford last night on the Atonement and how it was a personal atonement for each and every one of us.
I know that in my life I've had some pretty difficult stuff go on. I'm pretty sure each and every one of you could say the same (if you can't... congrats, I guess). It really is the most peaceful message the Lord gives us is that of His Infinite Atonement. He knows exactly who you are, what has happened, what is going on right now, and He has felt it exactly like you do right now. He knows how to overcome it, because He already has, and He will give you the strength to follow in His footsteps and come out of each and every trial and affliction a stronger and happier person!
Adios,
Elder Parker Hansen
