4/1/2024 - Week 37 - It's Esther time!

Happy Easter y'all!

This week was surprisingly boring so I will give the CLIFF notes version of Monday-Saturday

Mon:
Member meal with the Floyds and Sister Maxfield (all of whom are amazing). Thats all that was noteworthy

Tue:
Loaded up hay and mucked stables for 2 hours (most interesting part of the day). FR no one was outside or at home today, IDK where they all went

Wed:
Had some GOATED service at the food pantry and they gave us like 80+ Crumbl Cookies for our zone conference on Thursday. Our friend Lisa called and said her Grandson was in the hospital and it wasn't looking good (very sad). We quickly taught her about Fasting and the power it had and she said she'd fast for a miracle.

Thur:
ZoCo! Had a baked potato for lunch with country gravy (shouldn't work, but boy did it). Got to see all my homies in the Dayton zones and talk with them for a bit!

Fri:
Had a lesson with Lisa's daughter Kelsie (her son is the one in the hospital) because Lisa was out Doordashing with her Sister? (Bonding time is bonding time I guess) Anyways. we taught Kelsie about the Atonement and Miracles and she told us that her miracle was that her Son was doing better in the hospital and was sitting up and crawling!

Sat:
We probably talked to every single person that lives in our area and all of the surrounding areas as well inviting them to church. We seriously talked to a TON of people. We had dinner with our Stake President and his wife and they are funny as always. (President was wearing a "its not that deep" shirt during dinner) It's always a good time to be with them! We also found five old records in our area book that hadn't been contacted in 2 YEARS (aka a very, very long time) so we decided to go check them out. We get up there and we knock on all of their doors and EVERY SINGLE ONE ANSWERED! I've never had such a hot streak of people answering the door, but that was a huge miracle for real.

EASTER TIME!
Boy, this Easter was a tad bit crazy. But it was super fun. We had one of our friends come to church and she is super amazing and funny! We had a interesting experience there, but you'll have to ask me about it cuz I'm not gonna share it here (it's funny tho, I promise).
We had another member meal with the Minsters and the Huber Elders (one of the Elders in my district used to live in the area my ward covers now, so everyone around here knows him... it's very weird.) We also went to try and find people to teach at a waterfall because people were nowhere to be seen and we were trying to get creative. Turns out, we were right! A ton of people were at the waterfall and it was super cool!

Spiritual Thought:
Write a email/text/letter to someone you haven't talked to in a while and see how it brightens both your day and their day as well!

Adios
